College Recruitment Support

College Recruitment Support

Navigating the college recruitment process can be complex. Our founders, Peter Kim and George Cook, bring invaluable collegiate-level coaching experience to the table. Peter, head coach of the nationally ranked Middlebury College women’s soccer program and the winningest coach in the program’s 40-year history, and George, with coaching experience as an assistant coach for the University of Vermont women’s team, understand what it takes to succeed at the collegiate level.

In addition to the support players receive from their coaches, Peter hosts an annual College Information Session aimed at demystifying the college search process. During these sessions, he offers insights on initiating the college search, standing out in recruiting, exploring financial considerations, and avoiding common pitfalls. His goal is to empower student-athletes to make informed decisions for fulfilling college experiences.

Peter’s Tips for Success:

  • Start your college search early – the best time is now.
  • Build your resume of accomplishments and keep a journal with your hopes and goals for your college experience.
  • Choose the school where you will be happy, not just where you get recruited
  • Take advantage of the club game film to compile your highlight reels.
  • Reach out to your club coaches for guidance and support throughout this process.
